About
Yidnekachew Lemma (a.k.a. Yidne) is a Texas-based sound engineer, recording engineer and music producer born in Ethiopia. He has 15 years of experience in the music and audio industry, recording, mixing and mastering artists in Ethiopia and the United States.
Aside from his studio work, Yidne has worked as a FOH Live Sound Engineer, Production Lead, and Media Associate for churches, corporate events, and local bands across the United States, overseeing audio, video, lighting, and live-streaming production.
These days Yid owns a studio of his own, bringing creative visions to life from inception to finished product, constructing tracks, laying down mixes and mastering songs for release.
Away from the studio and live gigs Yidne enjoys family time, movies and finding time to rest both creatively and spiritually. He values living with purpose, staying grounded in his faith, and bringing that same authenticity and passion into the music he creates.
